The Memory Book...

Hi Friends,

Its been really long i have not updated my blog. But a lot is happening around here....
I have a lot of things to share.

To start with, here's a project that took too long to shape up in my mind, but the end result was far much better than I had thought of.

It's a Memory Book I designed for my sister-in-law as a wedding gift. She was shifting to USA post wedding and i wanted her not to miss any of us. This book contains wishes and blessing of 25 of her cousins for the new beginning of her life. It's been designed by me from scratch. From measurements to layouts; from selecting the right PPs to selecting the right photographs; from assembling it to binding it. Its a gatefold memory book. And the best part of the project: The emotions I saw in my sister in laws eyes. Kari we all miss you!!!

(Caution: Picture heavy post)

Cover

First Page - The newly married couple

Second Page - Filp Photographs of the Bride

The left page has 1 flip and right page has 2 flips

The left page has 2 flips and right page has 1 flip

The left page has some more pictures of the bride. From the right page starts all the blessings & wishes. The messages are printed on the slider card. The slider card slides inside the Photo pocket. This pocket has the persons picture who's message is printed inside.

The left page has a message pocket and the right page has few more pictures of the bride.
Now all the pages have similar photo pockets with slider messages....

Every bit of this book was thought deeply and then executed...
I would like to thank all the 24 people who believed in my work and poured in their messages, blessing and wishes.
Its was fun making this Memory book.
Made the slider pockets with the help of a tutorial from youtube. Click here to check it out.
The binding of the book is done with the help of a youtube tutorial. Click here to see it.
Few alterations are made according to my project.

Love Gopi
