Eccentric Wall Clock

Eccentric Loose Circle
Eccentric Shapes are made with loose circles, the centres of which have been pulled towards one edge and glued in place.

Make a loose circle, using a quilling/ designer board, and glue its loose outer end. Then use a straight pin to pull its centre to the mold's edge and push the pin into the board. To hold the centre in place permanently, apply a tiny dab of glue to the paper coil between the straight pin and the edge of the mold. Remove the pin when the glue has dried, twisting it slightly to loosen any glue stuck to it.

Using this quilling technique I made a beautiful wall clock. This wall clock also includes fringing technique, spiral roses, scrolls and marquise leaves.

This wall clock is a perfect gift for Housing warming. I personally use this for my room.

The different colour schemes for this wall clock available are:

Wine Colour                                                      Earthy (Peach) Colour                                                     Red Colour

Purple - Lavender - Yellow

Husking Butterfly Frame

Husking is a quilling technique. It is made by shaping paper strips around a series of upright straight pins. This is my most favorite quilling techniques...

This creation is a classy piece of husking technique.

The flowers and the butterfly are made using husking and leaves are the usual quilled twisted marquies.
As the background paper came out to be dull once the frame was completed, it is highlighted with tiny emblishments...

3D Paper Quilling

3D Paper quilling is that section of quilling which i wish to explore more and more always... I love it as it gives a different dimension to my creations...

This creation has a Santa Clause blessing a Flower Girl & a Drumer Boy on Christmas Eve. This creation is the entry for The Secret Sponsor's Challenge at Take a Quill Pill. I have used readymade quilling strips for all the figurines' body, hair, beard & moustach (of santa), drum & flower basket with flowers in it.

Welcome... to my blog and my world of creations...

This is my advance quilling frame, can be used as a House warming gift, Name plate or just a nice wall frame for kids room. Customization is possible like in this frame name "USHA" is used to personalize for gifting.

I'm submitting my this creation for "first-anniversary-challenge-by-piyu" at Take a Quill Pill blog.
This creation fulfills all the challenge requirments

1) The project should have fringing technique  - The Teddy Bear & Flowers
2) There should be some tight coils used - center piece of all the flowers
3) Use more than 5 colors. - it has more than 5 colors... ;-)
