Rainbow Shaker Card

Hi Friends,
Today's card is a technique I wanted to try since long. It's a simple shaker card with rainbow shaker elements.

I have used MFT Snow Drifts cover-up die to die cut 6 pieces of it. Then layered 5 pieces one above the other. Once done, now was the time to stamp the sentiment. Marked the place where I want the sentiment to be stamped by laying the layered die cut piece. Once the sentiment is stamped, the layered piece was then stuck to the white no card of size 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.

Thereafter each section was filled with a rainbow shade shaker element. Finally the shaker was sealed with an OHP sheet cut to the same size as of the die cut. To give a final touch to the card, the 6th die cut piece was stuck over the OHP sheet.

Here is a video of the shaker card.

Hope you all like this card as I enjoyed making it.

Birthday Shaker Card

Hi Friends,

Today I'm gonna share a card made for a Birthday Club member. Coincidently this card was so perfect for the Festival of Colours - Holi.

I have used Brustro water colour paper and Nirmal Transparent Water Colours to create the background. I randomly coloures the paper using water generously so the colours can blend in to create new colours. Later set the colours with Heat tool.

After the background was created, I cut the 'HAPPY' and the stitched border using my Silhoutte Cameo. Adhered an OHP sheet from behind to the 'HAPPY' window. Stamped the Happy Birthday to you on all sides of the square window.

On the backside used double sided foam tape around the square window and filled it up with golden heart sequiences...

Finally stuck the entire piece to black CS. To finish the card added a red ribbon n bow at the bottom of the window....
