Daisy Birthday Card

Hi Friends,

Today I'm gonna share another card I made for a birthday club member.

The background was created using Distress Inks - Spiced Marmalade & Scattered Straw.

The stamp set used here is JustRite Botanical Medallions & Banners. The Daisies are stamped couple of times, fussy cut and layered. They are coloured using Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers.

The Medallion label was stamps using Archival Ink - Cobalt and then clear embossed to give a gloss. This was done using the MISTI.

The sentiment banner belongs to the same stamp set and is stamped using Archival Ink - Jet Black. Its background is again colour using Zig markers and then fussy cut.

To give it a dimension, coordinating colour twines (below the medallion) and blings are added.

Birthday Shaker Card

Hi Friends,

Today I'm gonna share a card made for a Birthday Club member. Coincidently this card was so perfect for the Festival of Colours - Holi.

I have used Brustro water colour paper and Nirmal Transparent Water Colours to create the background. I randomly coloures the paper using water generously so the colours can blend in to create new colours. Later set the colours with Heat tool.

After the background was created, I cut the 'HAPPY' and the stitched border using my Silhoutte Cameo. Adhered an OHP sheet from behind to the 'HAPPY' window. Stamped the Happy Birthday to you on all sides of the square window.

On the backside used double sided foam tape around the square window and filled it up with golden heart sequiences...

Finally stuck the entire piece to black CS. To finish the card added a red ribbon n bow at the bottom of the window....
